Portfolio Overview

This website is designed to serve as an online portfolio for my Master's Degree in Instructional Systems from Florida State University.  Within the content links found to the right of this page you will find my goals, program of study, and resume.  You will also find a review of the six categories of instructional systems competencies that the faculty of Florida State University Instructional Systems Program have identified as those that masters graduates are expected to acquire and demonstrate.  Finally, annotated artifacts from the projects, papers, analyses, and products that I have created during my time within the program are presented, categorized according to the competency they reflect.  You can navigate to the categorized and annotated artifacts by way of links on the FSU IS Program Competencies page, or by choosing any Annotated Artifacts page of interest.  Within the Annotated Artifacts pages, you will note a link to the full paper, project, analysis, or voicethread presentation.  You will also, in most cases, see a small sample or image of the work present on the page along with the annotation.

The artifacts presented here demonstrate many of my academic strengths; assessment, design, development, implementation and evaluation.  I have demonstrated these skills on training applications, academic course examples, and even for learning interventions geared toward other educators.  Mobile learning and distance education are also strong interests of mine; some of my artifacts demonstrate my ability to develop and deliver instruction for distance delivery.  Other artifacts reflect the use of specific Web 2.0 and even social media tools to create learning environments that can be employed in a formal academic setting as well as informal learning communities.
